You can believe anything you want to believe, but you won't post your dementia here and call it the truth. Homosexuals lose nothing by not legally marrying. You cannot lose what you never had. Homsexuality can never be 'equal' with heterosexuality, as they are diametrically opposed. There is no depravity in a man and woman marrying. Depravity lies in any other combination. This truth is absolute, it is not open to interpretation.

Your thinking is askewed. My children are grown and none are gay. And I have 6 grandchildren. The defining behavior of gay is a lack of self control and refusal to conform to the basic moral standard of human sexuality.

You should also be very careful about what you say and do. What are you going to do if one of your children ends up gay?

Moral restrictions? You can be gay and live an emotionally healthy fulfilling life. THAT'S where choice comes into play.

It's not at all illogical to compare race and sexual orientation. It's something we can't help. It is a thought process, a course of action determined by our biological makeup, but a choice? Let me put it to you this way: If it were a choice, don't you think we'd have ceased to exist a long time ago due to the prejudice we face? God knows I would have.

That is an illogical comparison. Skin color is an inherent physical attribute, determined by the amount of melan our body produces, a tangible substance, a thing, a noun, genetically determined. Homosexuality is who and what you have sex with, it is an attitude, a thought process, a course of action, a verb, a choice determined by our will and ability to maintain self control and or be governed by moral restrictions. Liberals need to master the ability of critical thinking.

I think you need to do further research, too, because most studies tend to view homosexuality as a genetic phenomenon and not a choice. Trust me, I can tell you from my personal experience that it's not a choice.
