Yes, fom Live At the Forum. The original tapes are certainly gathering dust in some archive. I'm hoping some savvy video producer will compile some of these great performances of Dionne through the years into a double DVD (with commentary by Dionne herself, friends, others) so I can enjoy Dionne at top digital quality at my leisure. I'd like the same of Nancy, Mathis, Gladys, EW&F, StevieWonder, and others.

Love Dionne!  Her voice is paralleled only by a few. I have seen her live at least

10 times, and am always grateful. Her humor though, often is misunderstood. So dry.

She is joking. Dionne absolutely loves the Gibbs, and she has stated that fact on many occasions throughout the years. She used to tell a similar story and have fun at the expense of Cher regarding the song "Alfie." I guarantee you that Dionne means no disrespect. She is simply having a good time. She is obviously NOT serious, as she had very few million selling singles up to that point in her career......let alone 6 million single sales. IT IS A JOKE. Lighten up. Clay

Brava DIONNE! I will always remember the concert at the PARK WEST which I watched when aired on WTTW channel 11 here in Chicago in 1980-loved it! And I tuned in every week to watch SOLID GOLD on WGN 9 too.

actually, David Nathan thought Dionne's KMBA company might have included the initials of Marie Byars, her assistant. Dionne was incredulous as the acronym really stands for "Kiss My Black Ass." David thought it was funny.
