@pemchem To describe someone a colour is fine as its simply a descriptive word. Rarely does their exact ethnicity and families heritage come up. If you wish to do descriptions, african or Caribbean is Black, Indian looking are brown, Arabian, south/ central american and southern europe are Olive, oriental are yellow ( although usually oriental works well, and Northern Europe and america are white. Simply taking out slightly more of one colour to get each different shade. Its just pigmentation.

@283kieran Well getting someone's color wrong when you can clearly see it is stupid. Anyway, you shouldn't be putting a color on anyone. Ethnicity is better.

@283kieran When people say black, they usually mean someone of African decent. And humans don't come in either white or black! If you really want to give this guy a color, brown would be more accurate.
