Darkness

Shot on Bolex (analog film camera), 16mm silent, color film. The music and sounds are added later on.

The story is about a girl who attempts to run away from the light, only to find herself running in a loop, ending up in the same place no matter how she runs. After a moment of mental struggle, she finally gives in to the light and walks to it. It symbolizes sinners (humankind) running away from God, and always ending up where they started. Only when humans give in to God can they find a way out of their old ways and life.
