@venemiami Carol Gist from Michigan was the first African American to win Miss USA in 1990

You haven't seen miss india on stage nor viewed her interview. She is kinda maverick, but a welcome break from the pageant-patty types we are used to seeing. I wouldn't rule her out at this juncture.

hey did you ever research the countries that already selected their candidates
because for me as of the monent this are the strong contestant in their respective continents
america (north and south) -u.s.a. and colombia
asia- philippines
africa- south africa
caribean-puerto rico and trinidad/tobaco
europe-france and russia

I'm glad she won, she has amazing beauty and a great personality. A british news paper has the headline today "first muslim to win miss AMERICA!" they may have got the wrong padgent but least they are showing an interest!

@eurovisionpizza Yeah, I think that's a good thing. I saw the mistake, which is very common, even here some people don't know the different between the 2 pageants.

@brady9318 Good selection. To me is still early to have my favorites, but I think US just elected a very strong competitor. But, let's wait, things can always change.
