My Catahoula first 3 months with us

This is a quick update of my new adopted Cathoula. He has been catching up! From long road trips; daily hikes and swims, treadmill training and even some herding classes!
If you live in Alberta and is looking to offer your dog a new experience, take him to Bergen Ranch, south of Sundre. It was awesome!

thanks for all the comments; now Cajun has a brother; we adopted Suka, a husky, also from Rory, from Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue and they get along great.

Suka was also a dog nobody wanted, but like Cajun, he has come around and he is getting better every day!

I adopted a chihuahua daschund mix from rocky mountain! Her name's princess, she's in the happy tail endings. I also fostered Casey, the papillon mix and i miss her so much! It's good to see that Cajun has such a good life now, good luck with him!

I love this video too!  I rescued my Catahoula from a shelter in Florida. Even my friends at the rescue group thought he needed to be put down. He had been starved and abused.. He was aggressive towards other dogs, and some people. Two years of love, socializing, agility training, and traveling to places.. Now he has his good canine citizen certificate, he does pet therapy with elderly people.. I have never regretted the time I have invested... because I have the best friend in the world!
