This is the one and only song written and released in 2009 by the Norwegian songwriter and musician Finn Harald Røed (aka Finn Reed). It came out on December 29, on the very outmost edge of the 2000-decade. Røed played all the instruments (synthesizers, drum programming, el-guitar, vocals). The studio recording was done in his private studio in Songdalen, just a few kilometers west of Kristiansand, Norway.
Despite of the song's title, this isn't a traditional love song. Phrases like "Prophets of humans, step down from your throne!", "Angels of mercy, descend from the sky", and "Tear down the fading sky!" quickly caused some rather interesting and dark interpretations by certain listeners on the religious right. However, according to the songwriter, reading those sentences in the light of the complete lyrics, may lead each listener to positive, reflecting and enlightening thoughts, independent of faith, personal views and orientation. It all comes down to individual interpretation. On purpose, this song's message isn't spelled out word-by-word in the lyrics. :-)

@entotusen BTW: great backing vocals from the middle and out. I sure like that rotten lead synth sound, too ;D

Thank you, I think I will. And rebuild from there. :)

Norway 12 points :)
Couldn't help enjoying that haunting echo from the 80s combined with a much newer sound and feel. No wonder the latest versions of that style are becoming so popular again. Very melodic with a message to live and die for. Right on spot!

I really like this song. Very organic in a mortal synthetic way, original voice and solid lyrics. Like the mix of old and new. 80's, 90's and 2000's, it's all there. The very best of wishes to Norway from Deilailax, US.
