Even Jim Rome slammed Fatso Clemens on his radio show today.

I told everyone years ago when Fatso Clemens was with Toronto he was using steroids.

I also said Nolan Ryan was and still is the greatest pitcher of all-time BUT these Clemens fans are MORONS. Now, these USEFUL IDIOTS have egg on their fucking ugly faces today.

With David Concepcion or Joe Morgan making the tag? And WHY is there nothing of The Big Red Machine on YouTube? Oh, how I miss Captain Hook.

Yah, the big red machine, Bench, Perez, Morgan, Rose, Concepcion, Foster, Griffey at al, and before that Tolan & Lee May
If they ever had an amazing pitching staff (back then like the A's, Orioles for example) they might have won 7 or 8 World series in a row.

IIRC, it was the additions of Rawley Eastwick and Will McEnaney that put them over the top World Series wise in '75 and '76. Billingham, Nolan et als were at best mediocre, and Pedro Borbon and Clay Carroll weren't exactly overpowering. Usually, The Big Red Machine just beat their opponents to death with their bats and gloves. ;-)
