@GEOPAIH1234 thanks dude! ive got 4 x 39watte t5's and plenty of co2. im still trying to decide although i like the idea of having dence lush glosso as it gets alittle taller. what one would you say grows quicker? or carpets easier? thanks again dude for replying \m/
do you reely need substrat for a planted aquerium pleaz wright back

@MrPrazil 'Substrate' is essential in planted set-ups. It would be like trying to plant an outside plant or tree without soil. Ideally a special planted substrate that contains nutrients is recommended for planted aquariums. This will allow you just to fert the water and not worry about nasty things like root tablets etc.

@GEOPAIH1234 can you tell me please good sir whats easier to grow and carpet out of GLOSSOSTIGMA and HEMIANTHUS???? epicly beautiful tank btw :)
monkynutzuk 1 year ago
@monkynutzuk I've kept both with little problems. Glosso is supposedly a difficult plant to grow yet I have never had any problems, as long as you have good nutrients, strong light and plenty of stable CO2 . Hemainthus sp. I think is a prettier plant, with smaller leaves and lighter colour. It all depends what sort of look your after!
