been a fan of both films, the original from tarkovsky, and the modern by soderbergh. i was so mentally entranced by steven's interpretation, i purchased the book by lem. others have already said it previously, nearly every element of the re-make was flawless. the gripping score and deep space graphics are stunning to say the least. one of my lasting thoughts was what would cross one's mind alone in the depths of outer-space, where the picture of reality takes on infinite levels of perception.

Outstanding editing...both versions have such powerfully different messages, except the realization that "we don't want other worlds, we want MIRRORS." Thank you--great work!

This film is based on a great book of a well known polish writer - Stanisław Lem. The book has the same title and well, as an original and inspiration, is better :)

to jest piekne... szarpie zmysłami daje nam wrażenie bycia powyżej wszystkim.. problemy i przyziemnośc jest nam taka odległa... patrzymy w dusze... mało takich utworów... a szkoda...
