Disney Channel Intro circa 1996

This is an old intro from the Disney Channel recorded in December of either 1996 or 1997. It shows a CGI fly-through of Cinderella's castle with several waving flags, each sporting different Disney characters.

It could have been used there, too, but on the video tape this was taken from, it immediately follows a Disney Channel logo animation, showing this was recorded from the Disney Channel. Prior to that is an advertisement for a Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary special and the video is of two Christmas specials, indicating that this was recording in December of 1996.

Disney Channel had the magic back then. I miss it. That was Genuine Disney magic, and I'll never forget it.

Disney Channel is now rubbish, and needs a lot of fixing if it can come close to being as good as it was in the 90s.

@disneyfan81 same with me they air so much junk now I miss the old stuff it was better anyway also 1 of the shows that started off really good and dropped down to plain stupid is wizards of waverly place. I hate that show now and used to love it!! ;)
