I had this stuck in my head all day last Wednesday. It's probably been a year since I first saw this but something about it must have really stuck.

Shadflies don't bite at all, at least not humans. But they are a pain because they emerge in early summer in hordes. easy to swallow and, once, my dad made the mistake of painting the garage door just when the shadflies emerged. The door was thick with the bugger and had to be dried and completely re-sanded.
