  • @Professor6871 What does the FR have to do with what you said? You are hailing this guy as a hero, and he is directly responsible for our currency losing its value through the FR! The League of Nations? Joining The Laegue of Nations equates to the US sacrificing some of our sovereignty. Right wing view of history? There you go again demogoging anyone who has a different opinion than your socialistic view. You do know that Hitler was a socialist, right?

  • @scotttwood Rubbish! That's just a right wing view of history that's just parochial in the extreme. What dose the Federal Reserve got to do what I've said in 1913? I was discussing the inter war years not pre WW1? In that I was arguing that wider international politics would of been very different had the US been member of the League.

Its a counterfactual argument, something that historians use in their work a hypothesis you could say it is.

  • @deathball751 Am I a republican? No. I really don't see much difference between the two parties. They are equally opressive! As far as you saying "all my hate"..... Is that the only response you can come up with to argue with anyone who disagrees with you? It isn't hate it is an opinion. FDR was possibly the worst pres in history next to this ASS CLOWN we have now, but better him than McCain! Coolidge was a great pres and so was Grover Cleveland. You should investigate US history!

  • @scotttwood no...are you a republican? because if you're basing all your hate just because he's a democrat, that's sad. I lean on the Democrats' side, but I definitely think eisenhower is the 2nd best president of all time (behind FDR), excluding the watergate scandal Nixon accomplishes extraordinary things and HW Bush was pretty good too. See? I am considered a Democrat, but i can say that those republicans were great presidents i could even go on but i tried to choose only the most recent ones

  • @deathball751 Completely wrong! This was the beginning of the end. You need to learn a little bit about history. The whole labour and womens issues were already being dealt with. Wilson didn't write laws because he cared. He did it because he knew that there were people like you who are gullible enough to vote for him. Get a clue!

  • @Professor6871 Wilson's stroke is what saved us. It was a stroke of luck! Because of his stroke he did nothing to try and counter the economic turmoil that he was a pig part of creating. Also, under Wilson the Federal reserve and the Federal Income Tax was made permanent. The Federal Reserve Act was voted on Dec 23, 1913 in the middle of the night by ten or so members of congress while the rest of congress was in recess for Christmas. That's right, I said "Christmas!"

  • Crazyalexis12 your are a bullshiter

  • @deathball751 hmm i see where slavery is going.

  • It was a shame he had that stroke when he did as president. Without that Wilson might of got the reluctant Congress in the early 1920s, to vote for US membership of the League of Nations; instead of the policy of isolationism, which it was to pursue throughout the 1920s and the 1930s. US membership might of stopped Germany and Japan's aggressive military actions by giving the League strength. Consequently both WW2 and what was to come afterwards the Cold War might have been prevented.

  • @daryps03 within the FIRST YEAR ALONE he made amazing reforms... if it weren't for him, instead of posting here right now, you and I'd still be working for 12 hours a day seven days a week with little pay, women wouldn't be able to vote, trusts would destroy other businesses, rich people wouldn't have to pay for their huge income, and you wouldn't have workmen's comp. I agree, i am not a fan of the Federal Reserve, but compared to what they had before, it was way better. he was one of the BEST.
