gosh you ARE observant! yes, that's an egg shell. I was using it in another project.

Here's a tip - you know the foam noodles that are used in packing? If you ever get the kind that when you smash them they stay smashed and don't puff back up - they are made with corn starch and you can wet them a bit and rub them on your paper and it will work the same as the lick and stick!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I do my self made envelopes the same way you showed but I didn't know the trick with the oversized ones. That tip is especially helpful because I got a whole bunch of envelopes for free but they are too big for my projects. Now I can use them and it's so easy to make them fit.

You explain very well - I didn't have to rewatch the vid to "get it" :-)

THANK YOU I have a whole box of envelopes from a card person at a drugstore where I work part time. I brought them home to keep from being rude but every time I needed an envelope of course they weren't right. Now they are perfect. THANK YOU.
