Yes, I do like Carrie Underwood, and yes I do think she deserves an award, but Taylor relates to teens where Carrie Underwood has songs about an engaged soldier dying and having a guy cheat on you, so you break his car. Taylor helps you ease your pain of a break up, because shes unfortunetly had a lot. She really does deserve this award.

@Tapnballet99 i don't know... it's strue that taylor swift relates a lot to teenagers, but i find her songs too superficial. but i still find that carrie underwood's songs express the hurt and anger a lot better than taylor swift. Her songs are exagerrated so that we can go full out in our emotions, or else, their just blah... they also have more variety than Taylor swift's songs. She doesn't only sing about love and sadness, but also about saving the world, etc. Plus, Carrie sings a lot better!
