A tribute video to professional rock climber Michael Reardon who was swept into the sea in Ireland and unable to escape.
(Download this video in high quality here: http://andrewbones.org/download/reardontribute.avi )
I first met Michael during the 2006 Salt Lake City Climb4Life event, something to which he and his wife passionately volunteered their time. He later came to Philadelphia, my hometown, just a few months later.
He was the embodiment of mental and physical strength and had the kind of indomitable spirit and colorful personality that made people want to be around him.
His passing is truly a great loss and the 2007 event will not be the same without him. Our thoughts are with his wife Marci and daughter Nicki.

@jkerns85 If im not mistaken you have it correct. He was free soloing a sea cliff in ireland and was hit by a wave that carried him out to sea.

So how did this man die? Was he climbing on a cliff by the sea and a big wave just came up and took out to see. Please someone answer this for me I dont understand. I got mad respect for this guy I wish I had the honor of meeting him. Its crazy how this guy and dan osman would die from free soloing but but died from something else. This just goes to show that they were truely masters of their craft.
