This ex-celebrity owned forty-nine year old Les Paul Standard weighs 9.30 lbs. and has a fat nut width of 1 11/16 inches and a standard Gibson scale length of 24 3/4 inches. Solid mahogany body with a 'nicely-flamed solid carved maple top. One-piece mahogany neck with a typically thin early '60 profile. Brazilian rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. Inlaid pearl trapezoid position markers. Two PAF humbucker pickups with outputs of 7.60k and 9.14k. Original Gibson four-latch brown hardshell case with pink plush lining (8.50). The top has uniformly faded-out to a lovely lemon color and is strikingly unique with the grain being a combination of quarter and flat sawn and a distinctive 'eye' on the left-side, yet still having that characteristic fine wavy interlocking figuring across the face. A 100% original example. Ex Howard Leese of Heart and Bad Company.

  • Fuck the pool!

  • you no phil

  • @zapwatt It's all in the music and times they came of age in. Myself, I could listen to Howard Leese play that 'burst all day long and never grow tired. Phil is by all accounts an accomplished guitarist, and brings an energy to these vintage guitar presentations that you really don't find anywhere else. Could I listen to him all day long? Not a chance...but the guy's a riot!

  • @jaikwillis There's no such thing... as an ex-rocker.

  • @2:58 bet he's thinking what the F!#@% am I doing with a pool??

  • @MrFenderstrat1995 totally agree, but he might have a (lets be honest) TONs guitars.

  • Howard is not an "ex-celebrity" , come on now! he's still legit ! haha

  • God..listen to the sound of that thing..I just came!!

  • After watching this I appreciate PhilX and what he does even more. \m/

  • That dried woody tone just sounds so nice
