  • What's your setup if you don't mind me asking? Very good sound of the ESP (looks like a MH series)... but what's the amp/fx?

  • just my LTD and a Roland Microcube on the Rectifier setting. It's a small practice amp but it sounds pretty good

  • wrong, All Amon songs is recorded with Gibson Explorer and Les Paul custom in C# tuning exept Once Sent From the Golden Hall and Sorrow Throughout the Nine Worlds witch in in Drop-D =)

    NICE WORK =D

  • I stand corrected then lol. I just assumed they used 7 strings since it's the same tuning and what not. Thanks for watching by the way

  • amon amarth is from sweden right?

  • of course.

  • @Godisklubba I'm pretty sure it's B standard. I watched a vid in which they explained the intro to War Of The Gods and they said it was B standard.

  • Great lesson

  • @Godisklubba lol? amon amarth play 5 tunes down =P

    1b, 2g, 3d, 4a, 5e, 6b

or guitar with 7 strings, the same standar tuning and one bass more in b

    1e, 2b, 3g, 4d, 5a, 6e, 7b

  • filmed with a toaster? xD

  • where did you get the tabs 2 tabs i learn that are shit im tired to learn shit me i want the great amon amarth song!

  • Also, what's the strum pattern for :24 and on?

I'm such a noob, I can't figure it out. xP

  • @Godisklubba

Actually Amon Amarth is known for drop B tuning.

But they sound just as good in drop C.

I'm playing this song in drop C right now and it sounds great.

So, drop B, drop C, doesn't really matter.

But they do play in drop B.

  • Hey dude did u learn this from tabs? or did you just learn from ear? if tabs where did you get the tabs from??

  • @pizzapit2 First of all, it's not Drop B, it's just B... songs like The Hero and Guardians of Asgard are in Drop A
