i open AC Toolkit find my savefile, i go to rvforest.dat, double click it and then AC Toolkit closes.

I downloaded this application & extracted it perfectly. i clicked on the tom nook icon & it says open existing file & it brings me to my documents, i am unsure on what to do next

@ThePartyLemon You need to extract the application from the dmg file that you downloaded. Double click the actoolkit.dmg file and it should open. You should see a readme and an application called ACToolkit with an icon of Tom Nook. Simply click and drag "ACToolkit" to your desktop (or anywhere you want). If you don't know how to obtain your Animal Crossing save file, click the support link on the ACToolkit website.

@virusgh Okay, I download the AcToolKit. I open the thing. I drag the Nook thing on my desktop but it still doesn't work...

@ThePartyLemon Are you running 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or 10.7 (Lion)? You might try drag and dropping to your Applications folder or into your documents folder.
