Its not boring mate its drilling. The tool is called a u drill. They go hard lol.

Awesome machine tool.
The speed that it throws the workpiece around at is staggering - a braver man than me on the green button for sure! Do you guys you CGTech Vericut for proving out the programmes before hitting the go button?

was that a person on a bicycle at about 2:45? you can see then when the tool changer doors are open, just for a split second after the tool change is complete.
I wish our facility was large enough to warrant bringing in my bicycle :)

Matsuura Japan's manufacturing facility in Fukui is a very big place - hence the staff cycyles.

You haven't seen anything yet - wait until you see what Matsuura are rolling out over the next 3 years.
Now they are scary in a state of the art CNC machine kind of way.
