I think that would definitely get boring after awhile. It also takes awhile to register you answer. :( I think its pretty cool though.

I would add that these blocks, cool as they are, may not exercise the ability of children to visualize mentally. The blocks are doing that part of the work for them. If there are other cognitive, mental benefits, well, that's to be reasoned out and tested.

Don't forget that those "boring old blocks" have a very well defined role in the kid's cognitive development. No way those blocks should be replaced by these cubes for a 2 yo.
