  • I see that Luke Kelly and Ronnie Drew are both in the search tags for this video. Where's the mention of the man of the hour? Someone had best put John Sheahan in there, show some respect! The man doesn't even get credited in his own solo...

  • One of my absolute favorite irish songs there is, and I love this version! The day when I can play the entire thing on a tin whistle will be a joyfull one ;)

  • This is how it should be done. Good tempo - poco maesteso. Please don't talk of "versions". Any fool can do a "version" and they often do. But it's not King of the Fairies. They all be cursed.

  • I wish I could figure out that last bar, it's a fantastic version.

  • Dubstep? What's that? No, I listen to the Dubliners.

  • king williams hornpipe, not nearly as good as this tho...

  • Absolutely love this. thanks for posting

  • Does anybody know if this version is available on CD please?

  • Brought tears to my eyes. Sounded like my Granfather Ed Daniels (Irwin, Idaho) playing.

  • Liked this tune but must admit I much prefer Horslips version.

  • This song brought tears to my eyes.
