Midwest Gathering

I had a GREAT time at the Midwest Gathering. Thanks so much to Karen for organizing it!

I had fun making this video. For me the theme that seemed to jump out this time had to do with the wide variety of people's experiences in using or participating on YouTube. For some it is a place for sharing, while others it is a place for display.

Also, it is interesting to watch people's comfort zones being challenged at a meet-up as people explore different engagements with being photographed and photographing others.

Ditto to what Mandy said about "sub 4 sub" and what Mike said about how the gatherings differ.

What Gary said about sharing art is dead on. It's one of the first things I noticed on this site before really diving into the social interaction of this whole thing.

Really wish I could've been at this one, but there's always next year.

for out of focus shots, I don't know... I DO know it is possible, but I think the necessary technology is at NASA, they digitally enhanced a blurry video of the chunk of ice that punctured the wing of the Space Shuttle Columbia to investigate it's fateful last flight, that's all I know, sorry.
