  • @1969MustangMACH1→You are very specialist!! Pulse Detonation E/g is very dificult to continuous driving. Because it is a problem to supply the fuel and Shchelkin Spiral(Wire) become hot too much. I'm not good at English.so I can understand only the half of the thing that you want to say because it uses the translation free software!!!

  • Ummmmmm....

  • didnt see shit in this animation. btw I doubt you could make a reliable engine that runs on any type of detonation (look up the word, idiot!)

  • @1969MustangMACH1 It models the DDT transition in a Pulse Detonation Engine, a very different beast from the common pulsejet. The coil pictured is known as a Shchelkin Spiral, and it is used to allow the flame front to become supersonic. When this occurs, the power increases dramatically, but so does the internal pressure. A regular thin-walled pulse jet would be blown to pieces. This is the latest and greatest field of air breathing jet propulsion. But, yes, the animation is vague.

  • What the fuk hits the spring?

  • @1969MustangMACH1

The fact that this probably ain't no pulse jet might though. The title states that it's a PDE that is being awkwardly illustrated.

The coil is probably a Shchelkin spiral, meant to aid the transition between deflagration and detonation... illustrated by the color shift of what I assume is the shock front.

  • @1969MustangMACH1 pulse jet engine has no moving parts of course you can understand that. Build an LTD sterling engine and then we'll talk

  • Hi How much thrust can it give? Thanks

  • OMFG of corse, its so simple..........the worlds power crysis is over....oh thank you for unleashing this secret uppon us
