I caught VIA 692 (formerly called the Hudson Bay) rolling into Winnipeg today. VIA 6455 and 6405 were the engines on the train.

As you can hear on the video, it was very windy and the force of the train blasting past moved the tripod head. My tripod is a bit broken and doesn't hold its position very well any more. :P

  • I caught this at the St James junction. According to the hotbox detector at mile ten it was going 67 miles an hour.
