Yeah its amazing people think straight line is the one and only thing. Well it isnt I have a 93 civic with a turbo H22 that does 12 second 1/4 mile so what . I still enjoy driving my IS250 a lot more. You are right it is not just about acceleration. My Civic is fast in a straight line and its a lot of fun going straight but lets face it the IS is real car.

Stop bashing the lightning. It's a great truck. I used to own one. I now drive an IS-F (and also still own another ford truck). The F is likely stock or very close to it due to lack of a solid aftermarket, and the Lightning has TONS of mods available. Judging by how it launched off the line, he not only has very sticky tires, he has a _LOT_ of mods. When I owned the truck, getting into the 12's wasn't a big deal. I had the 264th 1999 SVT lightning built.

......... its just physics guys common, weigth reduction+performance adds = faster car. no matter if it is a little civic laws will still apply anyways... regarding of the lightning kicking ass in this video, will never match Lexus luxury and reliability :P

its either a modified is350 or an isf, it ran a 13.03, that is were I am basing my argument, I own a is350 and my best time has been 13.4 in a cold night. in the other hand, the lightning 'sounds' heavily modified, it has a cobra engine with a super charger for those who don't know, its true it costs half as much as the isf, AND add... give or take 4k,5k not even that and u get a high 11,12 second car.

I'm about 95% sure that IS an IS-F...Look at the 21 sec mark and pause it. The scoop (if you will) is considerbly a lot larger then the IS250/350. So unless someone sprung a hell of a lot of money for the IS-F front bumper, it's an IS-F.

Pretty late, but for sure that's not an IS-F, I can't wait to get mine, i've been waiting for the 09 model.
