During the 2008-09 season, Kaiser Permanente and the Warriors have once again teamed up to educate Bay Area youth on the importance of healthy eating and being active. In an effort to highlight the program, the Warriors and Kaiser presented "Get Fit Week" to promote the Get Fit Time Out program. This included week-long activities, with each day having its own theme and event. Players such as Ronny Turiaf, Kelenna Azubuike and Rob Kurz made appearances at these events, as well as the Warrior Girls, Head Athletic Trainer Tom Abdenour, Kaiser representatives and more.
