I desperately want to be able to play this song, I think it's my favourite song of Doyles. Even though this is an old VHS rip and the sound isn't great this still rocks my socks off.
Everyone should check out the documentary "Before the Music Dies" a truly inspiring look at some artists that don't get the spotlight they deserve, and the music industry that has abandoned them for a money making formula that produces talentless clones. Support real music!

This is what real talent is . Theres not many guys like Doyle Bramhall around because of the mass marketed crap the music industry feeds us . You had to open your ears and decide whats good to you not what somebody feeds you . In my opinion this guy should be on radio stations across the world . Selling millions . He's not flashy but thats not because he can't be , he's reserved but when he lets it loose he shows you what he's worth

i like how she backs him up and doesnt try to outstage him or anything

...this is the difference in a musician with a pedigree and the popular radio hacks....Lightnin' Hopkins on his left shoulder should tell you all you need to know about this guy.
-
@Sockswon --- I agree, Doyle is a much better musician than the likes of John Mayer and Kid Rock (What a doofus!!)

Doyle is always so in the moment of his playing, each performance is so unique!

@johnbambammorgan You don't know what you're talking about. Before they can release anything, they have acquire the rights in agreements with artists, record companies, songwriters and who knows what other hoops thy have to jump through. It can be almost impossible. You don't think they would like to to generate income by opening up the vaults? ACL has almost folded a number of times. ACL is a nation treasure, so STFU!
