Emo Vlog #1: My Cat Has To Be Put Down Tomorrow

Update: at about 5:45 a.m. Aleutian Standard Time, December 29, 2007, my cat, Eeyore, was put to sleep. My friend, Valerie was there and had me on the phone, so I talked to him until it was over.

I'm doing a memorial video soon, but have clips at home that I want to use, so I won't be making it until I return from Hawaii (Jan. 8).

Not of interest to most people, but I felt like vlogging about this, so here it is...

Wish me luck tomorrow morning...

I know exactly how you feel, hon. My cat Alex died a couple months ago and I still cry when i think about him. This vid mad me sob so hard.

i have to put mine down in about 2 hours. Its going to be really emotional, but hopefully its painless to her and she wont feel anything.

My first cat died because of a blood clot. It was really really bad and he was coughing up white foam and died in a few mins, he was in bad pain and the time we drove him to the emergency vets he'd already passed away.

My other cat had to be put down today, because of cancer, she was 11. I feel your pain. How are you now?

Hi- I actually tried to reply a while ago and apparently my response never showed up. Just wanted to say sorry to hear about your kitty (hugs), and I am now in a place where I still totally miss my cat, but I do feel more peaceful over it now.

My cat just died this way last night. This video made me sob. He died in my mom's arms on the way to the vet. Im so sorry for your loss.

my cat is being put to sleep tonight. we have had her for 15 years: ASHLY MARIE and we are heartbroken, I was angry that they wanted to put her down, but then when my daughter went to see her she told me she was in pain and could barely breathe and I felt in my love and compassion, it was the LOVING thing to do, last night I was ADAMENT about letting her come home to go peacefully. But I realize now that it's part of lives--we live then we die and we mourn. I am sorry FOR ALL OF YOU here<3

Just had to put my Cat down today because we couldn't afford the treatment he needed and didn't want him to suffer. I've been crying on and off ever since I kissed him goodbye.

I had to put my cat to sleep last week and it was the hardest decision I ever had to make. I am so sorry for your loss and yes...it is the right thing to do to put them down, but I don't know if you ever had to face that situation before, but I had not, and the event has devastated my life. She leaves behind three kittens, which I am looking after. You are right...it feels wrong to do this. My heart goes out to you, hope your little sweetie rests in peace. my cat died of a blood clot too he could'nt use his front legs and he was yowling so loud we took him to the vet and he had to be put down
