All these rude comment about the girth, being a beginner and whatnot.
The horse may be a wind sucker and bloat out, then release while riding, or the girth could be wearing down!
Stop with the hate, we were all like this at one point, you weren't always the rider you are today!

I just did my first canter yesterday the hardest part is when they go into the fast trot

@breanneburtch :I Sorry, I was looking at a different question. No need for bad words, jeez.... Act mature! :I

@WesternRiderGal I didn't bash her once I made a statement on what I do so chill out and stop being pissy
-
@breanneburtch Quit bashing on her about the girth! We all make mistakes, so chill. >:I

I didn't get a chance to canter when I fell off. Oh no, my horse decided I was too big for cantering... And introduced me to the gallop! XD
-
this is why I tighten the girth before mounting and then check after walking around for a few mins and tighten agian if needed before starting to actually work a horse, or teach a lesson.

Nice despite the fall its your first try

No offence but before cantering you should, have a better posture and core balance, and be more rigid at the sitting trot. But keep trying :)
