Sure they're really good, I've talked to 'em before they were big too.

But face it Misfits are always going to be the best in Horror punk.

Well no shit man, that goes without saying! Misfits are fucking amazing! :P

But when I say best in Horror Punk, I mean out of recent stuff, like Blitzkid, The Other.. but to be honest, I don't find the Misfits to be really horror punk at all. Like I know they're pretty horrific, but their early (and best) stuff has little to no association with Horror. It's cool saying Horror Punk, but to me they will always be a fucking amazing punk band. (oh ya, NOT talking about Graves' "Misfits")

That's hard to answer. Somethings about Jerry I like, somethings about Jerry I hate, I could explain my opinion but it wouldn't make sense. However, I WILL say that its not the Misfits! The only Misfits ever was from 77-83. In 1995, the "Misfits" came back, but its not the Misfits at all. That doesn't mean I don't like Graves' Misfits, it just means that its not really the Misfits. Same goes for Jerry.. fuck Dez and fuck half of Robo. If Doyle was in I would be happy. Doyle makes everything good

When they wrote songs such as...Bloodfeast, Vampira, Mommy can I go out and kill tonight, etc. They wrote songs about Horror movies, serial killers, Horror novels, and much more....So you will have to excuse me if I really don't understand how you find them to not be. But still take the band's music it'self which was suppose to be a representation of Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hyde...They had fast songs, and slow songs...

Not bad but Germany's The Other is the best in recent Horror punk, and The Misfits early stuff was not so much Horror Punk, but than they went ahead and created horror Punk. Which would be why they are considered Horror Punk.
