The Funk Brothers were not the only jazz session players recruited to the Motown family. Among them was a tenor sax player by the name of Autry DeWalt Mixon, Jr. (aka Junior Walker). Junior and his All Stars began their Motown recording career with a "blast" scoring a Top Ten hit with "Shotgun" in March of 1965. The following year they released "Cleo's Mood".
