  • level 61 in Macedon Server before Christmas, was division 13. I couldn't play anymore afterwards due to computor problems

  • lvl95 before update and was in Div11.. 97 now and div8 would be more but i dont play as much anymore cause my training partner went MIA.

So i think i know a little more about PvP

  • do you lvl easily in this game since it's turn based and battles would seem to take a while if your npc opponent is stronger.

  • as in most cases its easy to lvl until near high lvl then u must be in PT to basically lvl at a decent pace and complete quest

  • by guarding, you can save a merc that is low in health. For example, if you had a swordsman guard, the shaman can cast another heal which is more useful than sending the swordsman to "safety". The swordsman is not safe when the opponent has a range based or specializing in area of effect damage mercenary.if you guard you can then use the mercenary who gains the ap to switch with the one who guarded. Protecting the guarding merc from basic range attacks

  • if a merc as low HP and is alrdy "slouching" putting him in guard will not save him. with 2 or 3 attacks from your opponent mercs he will be dead. Switching places with another merc that can survive 2 other rounds easily giving the hurt swordman a chance to be healed(if u have a healer which u cans ee i didnt have a healer in my team) which in my case swordman was sent to back for better survival chance which a way better strat.

BTW what lvl chars do you have on atlantica?

  • putting your merc in guard mode isnt switching mercs and if that merc has already lost a significant amount of its HP whats the since simply putting it in guard mode when you can move it to another position where it can stay alive longer.

Even though moving mercs during battle without a prophet on your team that will give you the addition +AP can be a bit risky at times.

  • yes you can switch out mercs by guarding. While this may not be 100% effective such as on the first turn, the merc that guards will only receive half the basic damage it normally would for the duration of the opponent's next turn. the guarding merc will transfer over its action power to another merc. Allowing a merc in some cases to attack twice in one turn. When using a swordsman is unconvenient simply guard and another merc will able to be used. this will also create an "impenetrable wall".

  • Yes flame sword can sometimes do less dmg but what about the times when sword merc only does a single hit or even misses? the chance of missing with flame sword is a lot less.

is there another way to switch out mercs without using the D key? as u can see the UI was off most of the vid so using the letter keys was amust.

  • why do you flamesword the other player's sword mercs? They receive half the damage it normally does. A basic attack would have done more damage. You need to learn how to switch out mercs, using the D key.
