jelena is an attention slut

I don't think she seeks attention more than others. What I like about Jelena is that she doesn't conceal her emotions, either when playing and when being interviewed. She seems honest about herself and her shortcomings. She's genuinely got many interests away from the game. She's engaging and uninhibitedly laughs (a lot!). She doesn't seem precious or distant.

If you asked me who I'd rather have show me the sights of Belgrade, it would be Jelena over Ana Ivanovic every time.

@Rissole86 Yes I agree, but the point was, she should've made that clear. Instead, she appeared on British television countless times in interviews claiming that it was a definite possibility.

And many players compete in both doubles and singles in a major. If they reach the latter rounds of the singles, they can simply retire from the doubles, and nobody holds that against them.

Sam Stosur does it the whole time. And she is a very prominent singles player recently.

@333cale I reckon JJ would have loved to have played more mixed... but at the end of the day it's the singles ranking that counts, not the number of mixed titles you have won...

Man they are cute together... im disappointed that JJ doesn't play more doubles, both ladies and mixed. She played with Bernard Tomic this week though at the Aus Open, poor things were exhausted after their singles losses and lost in the 2nd round today :(
