Well, he was normally paid to do those segments partly for shock value. Plus people should know stuff like that given how Fox Noise lies nd such. Plus many of the situations he talked about could have easily happened to his, or someone else's mother (and in some cases they HAVE happened to someone's mother) so I don't bear Olbermann any ill will given his views. But that aside, I agree.

This is the most compassionate, remorsful, and polite of ever seen this guy. It's hard for me to feel bad for a man's mother when he's usually calling people who don't agree with his politics evil, stupid, or the worst person of the week. But, I did. so may your mom rest in peace, Keith.

Just heard that this piece got an Emmy nomination. Very heartfelt, stirring, and even funny. Props and condolences to Olbie, he deserves it.

Very sweet comments regarding his mother. It must have been a tough number of months there with his dad passing just awhile back. It's hard to understand how anyone could click dislike on this clip unless they are a sociopath or perhaps a Tea Party-Republican. Anyway, Steinbrenners death brought me to recollect the story about his mother taking that wild throw.
