What Lorelai says about how her dream is here, she has it, and she still thinks she's failing is so sad. It's true that she wanted an inn of her own, but she really had no idea how much work and time would go into it. This is how anyone would feel when they are working to achieve a life-long goal and it won't go smoothly. If only everyone had a guy like Luke for support.
