Bad Sushi

January 8, 1992: President Bush becomes ill on a visit to Japan and vomits on Japanese Prime Minister Miyazawa Kiichi.

While the footage was widely seen of Bush recovering from having emptied his stomach contents on the leader of his host nation, the actual moment of puke was only shown once on US television, on ABCNews. And somehow I ended up with a copy of it on VHS.

During WW2, George HW Bush was a naval aviator while submarines were used to starve Japanese islands by destroying merchant shipping. This forced the Japanese to resort to cannibalism of American prisoners of war. George HW Bush was shot down and stranded in the ocean on a raft for hours before being rescued.

At this dinner with the prime minister of Japan, he was told something along the lines of that they were rowing out to get him, before the rescue submarine surfaced. Then came the vomit.

Yeah the part of the video where he vomits is totally cut. He leans forward and vomits in the lap of the prime minister this should happen at about 0:14 but the news agency faded past it. Where is the full original video?
