The 2012 Ford Focus ST is being developed for worldwide markets, with the vehicle targeted for launch in 2012. This will be the first time Ford has produced one of it's highly regarded high-performance models for a global audience. Powering Focus ST is a high-output derivative of the efficient new 2.0-liter Ford EcoBoost I-4 engine. The new Focus ST features a highly distinctive sports exterior, providing significant functional and aerodynamic benefits and clearly differentiating ST from other models in the new Focus family.

@hamronD73 Not really, but I love the speed! The car rides rough as hell, cold starts the car runs like crap, and other minor things I hate! I'm at 310whp and 377wtq with bolt ons and conservative tune. The thing is the car is less reliable stock than it is modded. That tells you something about the build quality. Plastic engine parts don't work!

@vahdyx you dont like the SS? i read chevy did a great job on it... performance wise i guess hey, my ex had a cobalt and the interior was cheap as shit. Id go for the ford, everyone has a GTI, and the MS3 is sick and all, but, mix it up. Good luck with whatever you choose.

May trade in my Cobalt SS Turbocharged for this? Cobalt is fast, but lacks refinement, so this seems like a nice compromise. Either this, Mk6 GTI, 2010 MS3 or keep my Cobalt. What do you guys think.

If they manage to make this car cost around 30k than it will be very competitive more than 35k it needs to take on some good competition like lancer evo , sti , 370z and mustang 5.0 and camaro SS.

All these cars will take it out...

But if it's under 30k it will be very very good...

this car looks amazing, except for the blacked out tail lights, and i do not like the color of the rims..... good job though. Ford FTW.....:D
