thats too funny,we thought it was just our boxer that swam that way.....obviously not! Hercules said full body life vest doesnt help either> lol

They do that cause they dont know how to kick theyre back legs. they try and touch the bottom of where ever theyre swimming my pitlab did that. and she was only 30 some odd pounds.

They can learn to swim normally. I taught my parent's boxer to swim at about a year old. But they need help staying horizontal until they get it. They aren't very buoyant in the rear (no tail, etc.).

that is how my female boxer does..i tried to put her in deeper water and teach her..but i dont anymore bc she panics..

not really. i used to take my boxer dog to the river and he swam normally.
