  • i agree if a martial art wasn't effective why would people do it?

  • @Cheesyhamster92 im sure the guys u fought TKD were jumping around and just kicking they dont know the stances or the blocks they just kicking all the time.Im doing TKD and when i was 12 i was thinking that is useless but when i grow up i mix the stances and were able to kick their ass .There is no uselles martial arts there is useless martial artist.

  • @Cheesyhamster92 I guarantee if you went to Korea and trained with the military/police force your opinion would make a 180˚ turn. GUARANTEED

  • @Cheesyhamster92 cool story bro

  • @mrkiky well i have fought TKD guys on the street as well as sparring. we have many TKD guys that come to our classes and try to show off and challenge us. the one time the guy tried a spinning back kick on me. all i did was kick his hamstring and he landed on his face. i am not saying that i am a great fighter but there are strikes that are practical and not so practical. thats why i love Jujitsu, Muay Thai, Kali and Wing Chun because of the practicality in its teachings

  • @Cheesyhamster92 Just curious, when you say you fought many, you don't mean on the street, right?

  • hmm many martial arts has this technique or at least smiliar ones.. i almost every east asian martial art takes after ju jutsu...

  • toi tekniikka opetetaan jo alkeiskurssil eli lukotus ja maahanvienti

  • @xxxJamijdxxx oh this i know. i have seen many different types of TKD too. but what i am saying is that the hand to hand combat techniques are not effective enough, they are predictable and most martial arts like TKD does not teach proper close hand combat. i prefer arts that are practical that i can apply in street fights or situations where i MUST defend myself.
