The Pope is not the Beast. The Beast is the subject of this vid.
The Pope does not stop wars in any way. Quite the contrary, the Vatican (including the Pope) has been behind every major conflict in the last couple millennia and continues to do so. Some obvious ones are the Dirty Wars of Central & South America and the many wars in Africa.

In one way or another, absolutely! A prime example is the Vietnam War. Cardinal Spellman also used the phrase "Better dead than Red!", referring to Communism (the "Evil Empire" according to them) as well as promoted the phrase "Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out!" which comes from the Pope's statement during the Inquisition, "Kill them all, for God knows His own!".
