Sheikh Waseullah Al-Abbas Fitna in our Time Urdu lecture p.2

Shaykh Dr. Wasee-Ullaah Abbaas started his Islaamic studies from Jamia Salafia Banaras, India. He then came to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and did graduation in higher studies at the Islaamic University of al-Madeenah. The Shaykh benefited from the likes of ash-Shaykh Dr. Muhammad Taqee-ud-Deen al-Hilaalee al-Maghribee (rahimahullaah), about whom he says that he was very strong in the Arabic language. He also benefited from the likes of Shaykh Hammaad ibn Muhammad al-Ansaaree (rahimahullaah), who is well known amongst the Mashaayikh and students of knowledge. Shaykh Wasee-Ullaah had the privilege to have the key to Shaykh Hammaads huge library and thus would read to him. And ash-Shaykh Hammaad (rahimahullaah) gave Shaykh Wasee-Ullaah (hafidhahullaah) a Tazkiyah.

Shaykh Wasee-Ullaah also benefited from Shaykh Muhammad Abdul-Wahhaab Marzooq al-Banna (hafidhahullaah). Shaykh Rabee ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah) recommends and praises Shaykh Wasee-Ullaah and advises the students to take knowledge from him.

Shaykh Wasee-Ullaah ibn Muhammad Abbaas is now a teacher of higher studies in the Kitaab and Sunnah Department of the College of Dawah at Umm Al-Quraa University in Makkah. He also has a chair at the Haram in Makkah where he teaches 6 days a week, some days in Urdu, and some days in Arabic.

The Shaykh is very active in the field of Dawah. He has completed the checking of Fadaail as-Sahaabah of Imaam Ahmed ibn Hanbal (rahimahullaah) which comes in 2 Volumes (Daar ibn Jawzi print).

he is talking about grave worshiping, and people going to the grave of people who have passed away and asking them for things which should only be asked from Allah. that is the wasila he is talking about.
