Frozen Fantasy

A truly magnificent cruise in beautiful Glacier Bay in Alaska in the most perfect weather took us past snow capped peaks reflected in the mirror-like surface of the bay and amongst the icebergs calving from the superb Marjorie Glacier.
A spectacle to savour forever.

Thanks gb! Yes -old dogs (with emphasis on the old) CAN sometimes get there with some difficulty!! I sure wish I could wash off about fifty years!! Alaska was so amazing that IT did it all for me! Wonderful scenery and lots of luck with the superb weather too.

hearing that creeking ice is amazing, the reaction of the water from the falling ice starts to give you a perspective of size, obviously thats a big dump of ice

Thanks Leo. Yes, that noise as the ice got ready to fall was quite haunting and anticipating the actual place and fall for successful capture to video became quite a challenge.  But, mostly, it DID work out fine.
