Holy bat tits this song rocks! Layne was the man, but I dont mind this version. I grew up in the 80s-90s Layne cant be replaced, but you cant always expect a band to be the same. Of course its not as good as their original stuff, but it certainly doesnt suck ass either.

I love the dark parts of this song, but the chorus isnt that great imo. the songs that Layne and Jerry wrote together were always the best. You could also see this in their self-titled album that songs like "Grind" and "Heaven beside you" and "Over Now". Their good songs but its too much Jerry. I love Cantrell but he needs Layne. Them working together were like John and Paul. Or even better. It was completely unique.
Jerrys songs can get a little mainstream. But hes still a genious obviously.

@Stangorino281 you have to understand Layne he lost his girl to a od and never recovered and he was so deep into addiction i think he just said fuck it,and made a awesome album mad season,i think that shows who the band was,i mean i give credit to the rest but mike star and layne were best friends and when jerry kicked out star thats when aic died.
