Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told a small group of wealthy contributors what he truly thinks of all the voters who support President Barack Obama. He dismissed these Americans as freeloaders who pay no taxes, who don't assume responsibility for their lives, and who think government should take care of them.

Oil, gas, and coal about $20 billion a year, Walmart Corp. alone receives just over $1 billion in gov. subsidies. Military spending is tied with Social Security at $600 billion as the biggest expenditure. I don't see republicans jumping to cut even a dime of that, something that should be so easy to cut as it doesn't affect American citizens.

Except that is not the truth. The biggest group of welfare recipients are white and live in poor red states.

The irony is the Democrat politicians are pushing for the best interest of those who will never vote for them. On the other hand, they vote for Republicans who will take away their welfare that they don't know they are voting to abolish. This phenomenon is thanks to talking point politics and poor education.
