  • A woman should push in any way she feels most comfortable. The woman on her back is the easiest way for the Dr but not the best for mom or baby. Delivering on your back doesn't work with gravity and makes the pelvis outlet smaller. The only pos. for the woman on her back, like I said, is just easier access for the Dr.

  • I love that pump that's used to empty the pool. What is it called and where can you buy it?

  • @mrshaggie810 It's never good to be degrading when trying to enlighten someone who is void of certain pieces of information or "showing their ignorance". Educate and empower, don't bad mouth :)

  • You can buy it from madeinwater.co.uk

  • Does anyone know where I can get that thermometer? Thanks for posting this video

  • @2010RBD And babies do not drown-they live in water (amniotic fluid) while in the womb-their oxygen comes from mom via the umbilical cord during pregnancy and during a water birth. =)

  • @2010RBD I'm 107 to 110 pounds soaking wet (and yes, I eat, a lot actually. Just usually pretty healthy stuff more times than not and have just always been naturally lean.) I'm a size 0 to size 1 in clothes depending on the style/cut. And I've given birth naturally 2x's. One of our babies was close to 8 lbs and the second was close to 9 lbs. (And they were both long babies as well.) Not to be graphic but I'm "tight" down there too-your vagina will open up to birth-then return. You can do it. =)

  • @2010RBD Most women aren't too small for regular labor, that statement alone shows how ignorant you are...also, baby doesn't take it's first breath until after it is out of fluid/water, so there is no risk of baby drowing. waterbirth is better for mom and baby...maybe try doing some research before making ignorant comments.

  • @mediate27 some women dont even show all the way through so doesnt mean shes bearly pregnant
