I love charms and jewellery that has a story to it - so special. My sister had ovarian cancer this year. We're waiting to hear that she's in remission. The best thing seems to be to soldier on, but I do wonder where people like your nan and my sister find the strength. Hope she's doing well and beating that cancer's behind. I would be so touched by such a gift too. Keep it in the family and pass it on to your granddaughter one day. Hugs :))
