  • I can see it's passionate, but if it doesn't fit the style then it doesn't fit. Even Tom Waits knows what fits and what doesn't. It wasn't very good in my opinion, sorry guys.

  • @undericesinger Everyone has their own opinion. You don't have to like it. :P

  • How do people like this? I am not being rude. It just sounds like he sings off key in certain parts on purpose. It's like he trys hard to be different but he doesn't sound like he takes good care of his voice.

  • @undericesinger It's called passion.

  • holy cow where did yu find this?

  • @lazylauren111 I found this acoustic album on my friend's computer. I stole it from him :)

  • @undericesinger It's because he but passion into his songs and it's why he's an amazing front man!

  • I personally love the "gravelly" versions of this song. I think it fits more then the smooth prestine versions.

  • I really do love Mr Fallon, I think he is amazingly talented.

Having said that, I do not like this at all. His voice is too gravelly and (easiest way put) uncontrolled for this particular song. I'm not saying its bad, but it just doesn't suit his range. Jeff Buckley's version is the best cover I have seen of the original, and even then, it was no where near as good. The song was written to run smoothly and the verses were made to flow into each other and I'm sorry but Fallon just doesn't cut it.

  • @Fugazi978 I always think the slight imperfections are what make Brian's voice so good. Vulnerability, passion, soul. I never hear true soul in a "perfect" voice. Each to there own - I love Brian Fallon :)

  • @undericesinger Lmfao. Yee haw son.

  • @elliottsmith10 Norte Americano?

  • @undericesinger AMERICA.

  • Fantastic IMO

  • @elliottsmith10 Never count your chickens before they hatch, just because I don't agree with you. I still have yet to directly insult you like you have to me. I think you owe me an apology or you can just continue to be miserable and not accept other opinions that differ from yours.

  • @elliottsmith10 Until you listen to folk, bluegrass, hip-hop,death metal, power metal, alternative, jam band, orchestral, old country, progressive rock/ metal, singer songwriter, blues.... etc.... then you cannot place blame on me for having my opinions. I also sing a variety of genres and started in bands since 16. The videos I have are from my older band that I am no longer in. I have been in a blues rock, rock fusion, acoustic, and 3 metal bands. I am currently in a progressive metal act.

  • @elliottsmith10 You are saying I am nobody and you keep getting upset. Disgusting? I like plenty of soulful singers. I play music myself man. I don't think he did a good job with it. How hard is it for you to accept other opinions of people? I just don't like the off key parts. "The minor fall" if you listen that part is out of tune and hurts my ears. I know people do "blue notes" in order to add a feeling but I don't think it works.
