3 old electric writting machine for axes, motors and other mecanical stuff. Some wood, screws and low price part. 2 PCF8754 for I2C communication and 2 ULN2803 to relay the power. Post processor was building with delphi (free), G-code translator is kellycam (free), 2D drawing soft is turbocad (free).

  • 50 my ass. Sure if you have all that sitting around ur garage its 50. shit the bolts and screws alone would run you 25.

  • not very accurate cut, the time saved hand cutting will be taken up sanding

  • if the material is already up against the column that holds the head of the drill press, how did you cut into the further area of the material? It looks like you would be limited to the depth of the drill press - the spindle to the column holding the head of the drill press.

  • Nice but the bearings in that drill are not gonna last. They were not made to take a radial load, only axial. Swap for some proper thrust bearings and you are golden.
