This 1st test of my project that displays the battery voltage and inside temperature on the bottom line of the display.
Im using PIC16F872 to calculate the voltage & temperature with the builtin A/D convertor and to send data to the TID
The TID data protocol is based on the I2C protocol but with one extra control line.

The bottom line was used to display the date & radio station info for the vauxhall stereo that comes with the car.

  • thats great, i dont suppose this in public domain, code, scematic etc..

  • havnt had time to finish this....and has a bug in the code, intermittently the display goes blank.

    google 'opel tid' and you will find other code and diagrams which is what i have based this on.
